Known as, “a book lover’s paradise”, Library Hotel is a book themed hotel in New York City. Located in Midtown Manhattan, the hotel has a collection of over 6,000 books organized by the Dewey Decimal Classification system.

Each of the 10 guestroom floors honors one of the 10 categories of the Dewey Decimal Classification and our 60 rooms are uniquely adorned with about 50-150 books and artwork exploring a distinctive topic within the category it belongs to.

The design of room keys are inspired by library check out cards. By borrowing a room, guests are essentially checking out a book from the hotel.

The hotel features a book projection that showcases excerpts from stories relating to the room hotel guests are staying in. It would also recommend a travel destination that correlates with the guests’ respective room genre as well.
